Patatas Meléndez obtains GRASP certification for Social Practices

We added a new international certification: GRASP certification, which enables producers to implement a good social management system on their farms.

It also offers buyers an additional guarantee in social terms, while helping to protect people, who are undoubtedly one of the most important resources of a business initiative.

The GLOBAL GAP GRASP module focuses on social practices that have to do with workers: health, safety and well-being in general. It is a module that is carried out on a voluntary basis, and to which we at Patatas Meléndez have decided to commit ourselves. It is valid for 1 year and its renewal frequency is annual.

This new certification is the result of the corporate culture of Patatas Meléndez, focused on the quality of all the processes involved in our production. We believe in people and their importance, and with the GRASP certification we are taking another step forward in our commitment to our teams.
