Patatas Meléndez, S.L. is immersed in a continuous project of investment and improvement of its facilities in Medina del Campo, always focused on obtaining the best final product by means of the latest technological advances, consolidating its position as a reference in the national agri-food panorama.

The company has complemented and renewed its sizing, washing and polishing lines, obtaining better results in the final finish of the potato and respect for the environment.

An optical selector is incorporated which facilitates the achievement of a more efficient triage and selection, a ventilation system is implemented which allows optimal conditions of temperature and relative humidity. Concerned about sustainability and saving resources, we have expanded our WWTP with the aim of reducing water consumption by 50% Project co- financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), “Europe invests in rural areas”.
