We donated 24,000 kg of potatoes to the Madrid Food Bank.
At Patatas Meléndez we have just made a new donation to the Madrid Food Bank. We are talking about 24,000 kilos of potatoes, which the Foundation will make available to the people most affected by this crisis.
The so-called “hunger queues” continue unabated, and the health crisis is simultaneously revealing itself as a food crisis that is leaving entire families without access to basic food.
The Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid, through charities, helps more than 190,000 people who are currently living below the poverty line. That is why, as part of our action plan and donations to alleviate the effects of Covid-19, we are collaborating with the Food Bank to contribute to the fight against this situation.
