Conditions of purchase
1.- Shipping costs
Shipping costs are FREE.
2.- Payment systems
The buyer commits to paying at the time the order is made. The initial price listed on the website for each of the products offered will have the corresponding shipping costs added, if any. In any case, these rates will be previously communicated to the User before finalizing the purchase itself. The ticket or purchase order receipt will be available and will be sent via email to the address provided by the User in the Registration section. The buyer must pay the corresponding amount of their order by payment through credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Electron, and/or other similar cards). The User must notify Patatas Meléndez of any improper or fraudulent charges on the card used for purchases, via email or by phone, as soon as possible so that Patatas Meléndez can make the appropriate arrangements.
3.- Delivery times
- The delivery time is 24h-48h business days from Monday to Friday in the peninsula.
- The delivery time is 48-72h business days from Monday to Friday to the Balearic Islands.
- Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla are not made.
If these deadlines cannot be met, we will immediately inform you to provide a new delivery period. If the new period is not accepted, the customer can cancel the order and will be refunded the amount paid if it has been made. In any case, a delay in delivery relative to the indicated times does not give the customer the right to demand any compensation.
In adverse weather conditions, orders may suffer some delays. All deliveries are home delivery, with a standard, economical service, with delivery during the day, from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday and without prior notice, therefore, we recommend providing an address where someone is always present during the day to receive the delivery.
In case the carrier tried to deliver the package and there was no one to receive it, they will leave a note with a phone number you can call to request, if possible, a new delivery attempt, or arrange collection at their warehouses.
At the time you receive your package, you must:
1. Check the conformity of the goods received at the time of delivery.
2. Indicate any anomaly seen on the package on the delivery note, stating your reservations and including your signature.
3. Transport providers do not allow the return of the goods if the customer opens them in their presence, but you can review the box from the outside and if you detect that the box is wet or moist, do not accept the order. The transport company will notify us of the incident, and we will proceed to send a new shipment at no cost to you.
4.- Warranty
Defects or damage due to incorrect use or handling of material or wear and tear caused by normal use are not included in this warranty. The decreases in the functionality of the items, due to the design limitations of the same, are also excluded from the coverage of this warranty.
5.- Returning or exchanging a product
If you are not satisfied with the items, within 7 days after receipt, you can make the exchange or return of the purchases made. First, you must inform via email to tiendaonline@patatasmelendez.com and we will communicate the way to process the return. The shipping costs of the return will be borne by the Client and the Company will return the net amount of the item.
Essential in any return: Send an email to tiendaonline@patatasmelendez.com, stating your name, order number, and the reason for the return. All this information can be found on the order sheet of the goods. It is essential to report this data, whatever the reason, to authorize the return. That the products retain the original packaging, not unsealed and perfectly closed.
The item to be returned must be properly packaged for its return. In case of non-conformity with the product received, Law 23/2003 will be applied.
6.- Limitation of liability
Purchase prohibited to minors under 18 years of age. Consume responsibly.
7.- Data protection
To make your purchases in our store or access certain services, you must register your personal data and choose a username and password that will allow you to access all those areas that require prior identification. This will prevent you, from here on, from having to fill them in again. These data are incorporated into our database, being used only to process the order and for you not to have to reintroduce them in future purchases, as well as to send information about offers and services that may be of interest to you provided that you do not indicate otherwise.
The user must maintain the password under his exclusive responsibility in the strictest and absolute confidentiality, assuming, therefore, any damages or consequences of all kinds derived from the breach or revelation of the secret. The User agrees to notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized use of their password, as well as access by unauthorized third parties to it.
