Patatas Meléndez sponsors the Rugby La Vila club in its new stage in the División de Honor A.

Patatas Meléndez, once again, marks a try by backing Rugby La Vila, from Villajoyosa. The company from Valladolid will sponsor the Alicante team after its promotion to Division of Honour A, the highest competition in this sport in Spain.

In addition to the first team, all categories, both in grassroots and senior teams (men and women), will carry the Meléndez name on their jerseys. The signing, which took place in February, is the kick-off to what is expected to be a long relationship between the two parties.

This collaboration highlights Patatas Meléndez’s commitment to the values it shares with a sport such as rugby: effort, commitment and discipline. It is also presented as an approach to the Valencian Community, an area of the Spanish market to which the company allocates a large part of its business. This commitment to sport and the Levante area was already reflected in its recent sponsorship of the Valencia Marathon and Half Marathon.
